Join us for an Evening of Recollection on Wednesday, June 17th, from 7 PM to 9 PM at Westfield.

This month’s theme, United in the Eucharist and in the Family, invites us to reflect on two places where Christian love is meant to become deeply real: before Our Lord in the Eucharist and within the life of the family.

In a busy city like Los Angeles, it can be easy to move quickly from one responsibility to the next. Work, relationships, family obligations, friendships, personal goals, and daily concerns can fill our minds and hearts before we even realize how much we are carrying.

An Evening of Recollection gives us the chance to pause.

It is a time to step away from the noise, recollect our hearts, and return to what matters most: our relationship with God and the call to love those He has placed closest to us.

The Eucharist is the source of our unity with Christ.

It is where we are strengthened, healed, nourished, and drawn more deeply into His love. From that encounter with Him, we are sent back into our homes, workplaces, friendships, and families with renewed charity and purpose.

Family life, whether in our families of origin, future families, spiritual families, or the community God places around us, is one of the most concrete places where we learn how to love. It is often where patience, forgiveness, generosity, humility, and sacrifice become less theoretical and much more real.

This recollection will offer time for prayer, reflection, and interior renewal as we consider how Christ in the Eucharist strengthens us to love more faithfully in family life and in the ordinary relationships that shape our days.
